The North Manchester Community Network is part of the Community Network for Manchester and is here to enable local groups, voluntary organisations and residents of North Manchester to get involved in decisions being made that affect their area and provide a link for all the groups to work effectively together.

Manchester Community Central

A new year and a fresh start Welcome to Manchester Community Central

The new information and support service for Manchester's voluntary and community sector.
We now have a full team in place with a range of experience and skills. As Project Manager it is my job to oversee and support Manchester Community Central as it develops into the first class information and support service Manchester deserves. I am delighted to be part of such an exciting time for the voluntary and community sector in Manchester and hope to meet many of you at our forthcoming launch event (details coming soon).

HandyVan

HandyVan is a FREE service to anyone 60 plus with less than 20k in personal savings. Once a client applies for the service our fully trained fitters will visit and make recomendations to improve security etc.

We will fit : Mortice Locks, Window Locks, Door Chains, Door Viewers etc. We will also fit 10 year smoke alarms, 5 year carbon monoxide alarms and carry out a fire risk check for the fire service.

We will also offer minor repairs and DIY tasks, as well as extra stair and grab rails.
